In Adam’s Fall, We Sinned All

Now godliness with contentment is great gain” (1 Timothy 6:6) but unthankfulness and discontentment leads to great pain. This became obvious when our first parents rebelled against God’s revealed word and sinned. Unfortunately the apple does not fall far from the tree. What can we learn from this pivotal event in history? Will we emulate their sin by listening to and obeying the enemy of our souls or will we run to the great “seed of woman” (our Lord Jesus Christ) and find complete victory in Him? The outline for the sermon from Genesis chapter 3 is as follows;

  1. They had it all, why did they fall?
  2. The wages of sin is separation from all that is good
  3. But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ
