Walking in the Fear of the Lord

As those who trust in Christ alone for salvation, we are called to walk worthy of what He has done for us. In contrast to the rebellious world, we are called to walk accurately (Ephesians 5:15) according to God’s will revealed through His holy Word. This is accomplished under the controlling influence of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18) which leads to growth in wisdom and knowledge, joy and thanksgiving from the heart, and mutual edification and service (ministry). Here are the three main points of the sermon from Ephesians 5:21 that further expands upon this truth.

  1. Because of who He is
  2. Because of who we are in Him
  3. How is it reflected in our daily lives?
